The room was spacious and really pretty, and the fold-down couch was comfortable. I ended up sleeping on it as the youngest after our plans fell through, but that wasn’t the lodge’s fault. The houseworker cleaned well, the neighbours renting the other places were unexpectedly lovely, and we had a great time. It’s a good spot if you’re bringing dogs on vacation. At night I spotted lots of cute frogs, very pretty to photograph, but don’t touch them in case they’re poisonous. There were loads of mosquitoes, though that’s just St Lucia. If you’re coming back from the beach, I’d rinse the sand off in the pool before going inside, especially if you’re fussy about keeping the space clean.

Madeleine's warmth, hospitality and knowledge of the area really topped off our fabulous stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in a perfect location. Highly recommended for a visit to St Lucia, and thanks again!

Madeleine helped us make the most of our time in St Lucia, sharing local tips and sights with real enthusiasm. Her welcome and hospitality made the trip feel special, and we can’t wait to return. Ingwenya Lodge was a lovely base, surrounded by nature but only minutes from the area’s highlights. Our chalet was spotless, well kept, and had everything we needed to relax comfortably. Highly recommended for anyone coming to St Lucia.

The owner was a delight and helped us settle in, with ideas for things to do around St. Lucia. My fiancé and I had our first proper vacation together at Ingwenya Lodge, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff were fantastic and the rooms were cleaned every day. I’ll definitely book here again.
