The parking area is so cramped that maneuvering a double cab is difficult, and cars often ignore the no-parking spots. Breakfast was fine, though nothing memorable, and we weren't given salt or pepper. The staff seemed not to care. When I raised the problems, reception just said, "Oh ok," without an apology. They couldn't move me to a larger room because they were full, and when I said I'd leave because the place wasn't what I expected, I got the same response. They refused my refund request, citing a no-refund policy. The woman in charge was sitting at reception in her nightgown. The room was much smaller than advertised, with only about half a metre around the bed and no room for a table or chairs. It was dirty, including the bathtub, cupboards and bedding. Other guests kept crossing the balcony on their way to breakfast and the pool, looking into the room, so there was no privacy. Neither the bathroom nor shower had a door. The ceiling was starting to sag, which suggests poor maintenance, and the beds were so worn through that I felt the mattress springs all night. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the customer service.

The room was lovely, with a large bed, nice linen, a spacious shower and tub, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The woman at reception was also really lovely. The drive-in gives a poor first impression, though. It would suit an overnight stop or adults who want somewhere to sleep while exploring Salt Rock and the surrounding area.

The parking is practically nonexistent. Even small cars struggle to fit, and if someone parks over the lines, you can barely get around the corner. A Bidvest car was beside us, parked like a clown. Inside, the basin was cracked, the mirrors had uncleared water marks, paint was peeling and there was dirt under the beds. This place is badly worn and needs a lot of care. Absolutely horrible, definitely not recommended.

We lasted one night and then moved out. The manager was rude, the bathrooms were dirty, breakfast had no variety, and reception was usually unattended. It was a really bad stay. We did get some of our money back after cancelling through booking.com, luckily. I wouldn't recommend this place, it was horrible.

The name gives the wrong impression. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The rooms were disgusting and not properly cleaned, the bathrooms had mould and no ventilation, and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. The TV didn't work and there was no one at reception. Rooms are rented to day visitors, which only means one thing, so disgusting. The dining area had no air conditioning either and smelled of smoke coming from the workers' area below. At night there are no lights around the pool, which feels very dangerous.
