We stayed in one of the newer rooms beside the gardens and pool. It opened onto a bright shared hall with a little table and two comfy chairs, then a separate door led into the bedroom and bathroom. The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed, including a quality bed and bedding, a large new TV and effective air conditioning. The hotel is a few steps from the beach in a quiet, very safe part of Hermanus. The striking modern building made a great first impression, and the team were friendly from our welcome snacks and glass of wine through to our departure three days later. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good, and we chose to eat in the garden like most guests. The produce felt premium. The pool is small, but it was clean and ideal for a dip in the heat. We were impressed with every part of our stay and would recommend both the hotel and Hermanus.

The hosts made us feel at home right away, and you can tell how much care has gone into the place. It’s elegant and warm throughout, with everything spotless and beautifully kept. The food was among the best we had on our trip, full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. The location by the ocean is peaceful while still close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming, and the spacious rooms were quiet, spotless and thoughtfully laid out. The hotel is peaceful, beautifully designed and well maintained. Be aware that check-in is limited to 3-6pm, with no extensions. We nearly missed the window because we weren't used to such a short timeframe. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Philip and Ron were kind, attentive hosts who made us feel at home. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and the comfortable rooms and relaxing pool area were great too. A wonderful find near Hermanus. We’d happily stay again, and recommend it to anyone visiting.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit cut each morning, a cheese platter and Philip’s homemade granola. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided, which was a thoughtful touch. Ron and Philip clearly put a lot into Glow Suites, and they gave us great suggestions for things to do nearby. The place is spacious, peaceful, spotless and in a perfect location. I couldn’t imagine better hosts 🤍. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely come back. Merci 🌼
