The welcome from Karin was very unpleasant. We contacted the establishment on the day of our booking because of an unexpected emergency and asked to check in earlier, as we had a wedding later that day. Karin’s response felt dismissive and unaccommodating, and the way she spoke to us left us uncomfortable and unwelcome. After we had checked in, one of our guests was initially refused entry just because he arrived a little earlier than expected. That added to the bad feeling on arrival. The other staff were friendly and professional, and we’re grateful we were ultimately allowed to check in a bit early, but Karin’s poor reception overshadowed the experience. For the price and standard of the establishment, guests should be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. Our experience with Karin fell short.

Checking in and out was effortless, and the stay was very relaxing. Our room was lovely, with views of the swimming pool and garden, and the bathroom was neat and clean. I’d stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place in PTA.

The food was super nice 🔥, and I really enjoyed my stay at Water on Willows. It’s beautiful and quiet. From the yard I expected a tiny room, but I was impressed when I went inside. The bedrooms are so big and have everything: TV, Wi-Fi, DSTV, a small fridge, microwave, and more. The bathroom is huge and beautiful, big enough to fit another bed. I loved the hospitality from Karin. She’s kind and very good with people. I highly recommend this place.

Karin, Karin’s daughter, and their sweet staff Rebecca and Josephine helped me settle into life in South Africa quickly. Their warmth and support meant I didn’t miss home during my four weeks there. The guesthouse was very clean and close to hospitals and shopping centers. It was my first time traveling overseas on my own, and though I hadn’t researched Waters on Willows much before booking, I’m glad I chose it. I highly recommend staying here. Next time, I’ll come with my family. Bye now.
