The room looked amazing, the view was nice, and my husband and I had a great time. The bath did have someone else's dirt still around the rim, though, and the clean washcloths smelled strongly like a dog. The front desk vibe felt a bit off, but we chose to enjoy ourselves despite those things.

The staff were friendly, and the room had beautiful views during our one-night stay. But the shower was really disgusting, with mould between the tiles, a brown floor that hadn't been scrubbed, and old soap marks left by previous guests. The towels were stained, the air conditioner was extremely loud, and the hotel seemed very understaffed.

We had incredible views from our room and a lovely breakfast selection. The staff were friendly, and the free shuttle into Hermanus town for dinner was really helpful. Beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was the standout for us, freshly made à la carte and world-class. I especially loved the lentil pancake with poached eggs. We also had spacious, beautifully designed rooms with a lovely garden view, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel is a great base for the coastal walking trail. We had a fantastic stay!

We stayed in guesthouse 1 and had a clean, really nice room with an amazing view. The staff were so friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Albert also took us to Hermanus when we asked, then picked us up again, all for free.
