Atlantic Pearl Rivonia Guest House

I booked a king room advertised with a garden and pool view, a balcony, and air conditioning. Instead I was shown a room facing a jojo tank, with no balcony or air conditioner, just a fan that was falling apart. They couldn’t provide what I’d booked, so I canceled both reservations and am still waiting for the refund. This felt like false advertising. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!

The staff seemed to be trying their best, but they didn’t seem trained, and I felt unsafe during my stay. The carpet was filthy, and the view looked out onto an unsecured building site. Opposite the room was a badly maintained storeroom full of junk. It didn’t feel clean at all.

There are two security gates, and the setting feels safe and peaceful. My room was modern and very clean, and I really liked how spacious the shower was. The front desk managers were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this guesthouse and will definitely return.

We came back today with my friends after staying here since yesterday afternoon, and we loved it. The place is beautiful and feels real, with big, clean rooms and an amazing swimming pool. The wifi connected perfectly too. The host was wonderful, so kind and polite, and the gateman and the lady who helped us in the evening were amazing as well.
