The house is beautiful and feels like a piece of art, with amazing rooms, a perfect location, and a heated pool. It’s luxurious and a great lodge for a couples retreat. With young children, though, it could be tricky: the pool has no cover, and the stairs are a bit uneven.

The place is clean, and what you see in the photos is what you get. I had a really good stay and would happily return. If you're looking for somewhere to go with friends or family, Braham The Octave is a great choice. The staff and owner are very friendly.

I stayed at Braham suites last week while attending a Johannesburg summit with around ten colleagues. Mr. Shola made us feel very welcome, and the house has modern interiors with an antique touch. Our room was huge and fit four of us comfortably, with lovely wooden floors. The housekeepers were very nice, and the cook made delicious sandwiches and breakfast. The lawn could use a bit more landscaping and gardening. Security felt good, with an automated entrance gate and CCTV in some parts of the house. I loved it.

It was a clean, fairly new place and not bad to stay in. The noise was the problem: other guests stayed loud until late at night.
