We had a wonderful family stay. The hotel is beautiful and quiet, with 24/7 security, and the pool was always clean. It’s also close to the river.

The deck is lovely, but the gym barely had any equipment. My room was quite small, and the shower head sprayed water everywhere. There weren’t any adapters, so I couldn’t charge my phone. The place was clean, but I’ve stayed somewhere better for less money. For the price, it’s average.

Really nice-looking hotel, and they have backup power and a borehole. The service is on point, so I’ll definitely be back.

What we found wasn’t what had been advertised. There were leaking roofs and mouldy showers, and when we complained, we were basically called liars. They refused to refund us and kept our R16000. Very sad, especially when they say they’re four stars.

They’re dumping building rubble and other rubbish along the riverbank and into the Zandspruit river. There’s no concern for the environment. I’d give them zero stars if I could.
