Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton

The shuttle drivers deserve a thank you, along with everyone else who helped us during our three night stay. The whole experience was excellent, and choosing this hotel was easily my best accommodation decision in Johannesburg. One small request about the executive lounge: if possible, please offer a bit more halaal food. Thank you.

We had a nice stay, and the receptionist who handled both check-in and check-out gave us lovely service. The restaurant's morning team was good too, from the waiters through to the chefs. At night, though, a few people in the restaurant, including the floor supervisor and some waiters, could use more customer service training. The way they spoke to and approached guests wasn't nice. Improving that would be in the hotel's best interest.

I was there for a workshop/conference, not as an overnight guest, and appreciated the dedicated motorcycle parking. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. A special mention to the safety and security manager, who gave us a brief but thorough evacuation briefing. They also clarified that no evacuation drills were planned that day, so any alarm should be treated as real. I appreciated the professional approach.

The pool was a lovely quiet spot to relax, especially with the bar right beside it. Our room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of options. We also found the hotel clean and well kept, with warm, friendly staff. The shuttle driver was a highlight, funny and knowledgeable, and gave us useful tips on nearby malls, transport, and things to do with the family. It was a memorable stay, and we’ll be back. ❤️😁
