The neighborhood is nice, but I’d never return to this guest house. Our room was dirty, from the sheets to the microwave, with hair everywhere, including in the fridge. Nothing had been swept, and one day we came back to an unmade bed. Definitely not a good place to stay.

The house itself is lovely, and Buhle, the house keeper, gave amazing service. But the host, Roger, made the stay uncomfortable. Guests are watched like hawks, and we even had to argue that we could use the main areas, since apparently guests are limited to the bedrooms. Some towels looked old and torn. The bread had expired on December 22, though we arrived on December 31, and the owner had left his food in the fridge, making it very uncomfortable to use the appliances. Buhle prepared breakfast decently, but the limited ingredients showed the owner’s complete disregard for guests. The place would be great with a different owner or host. Roger is there during the stay, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were there this past weekend and are definitely coming back on Easter. The place is stunning and affordable, and Roger is very friendly and down to earth. He gave us good service, and Loreta is amazing too. Thanks from Shadai, Tisha, and Fenny.

Shocking experience. There was old plaster in the shower and litter at the entrance. Security wouldn’t let me in after curfew, and check-in wasn’t at 1 as advertised.
