Languedoc Farm

The Paddock Suite felt spacious, with large windows and glass doors that kept us connected to the garden. We could hear the river from the cottage, reached by a short walk through natural forest. Inside, the suite is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen has everything needed for self-catering. There’s also a fire pit for a braai and plenty of outdoor seating for meals. Even winter sounds inviting, with carpet in the cottage and bathroom, plus a bathroom heater and heated towel rails. My Mom and I loved every moment of our quieter, relaxing weekend on this gorgeous farm. The old trees, green lawns, flower beds and butterflies made the place feel almost like a fairy tale. Thank you Di for sharing your beautiful farm. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The cabin had lovely forest views, and the indoor fireplace kept us cozy through the cold weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Diana made us feel right at home, welcoming us like family and sharing helpful tips on wine farms and places to see. Languedoc is a cozy cottage tucked away in the Stellenbosch hills, with the sound of a stream and nature all around. It has everything you need for a restful break among the trees, close to wine farms and great places to eat. A lovely escape from city life, just as the pictures show, and somewhere I’d return whenever I can. Highly recommend, and thanks for such an unreal experience.

This BnB feels like sheer heaven, with lovely gardens and views, two friendly dogs, all the comforts you could want, and exquisite horses in the paddock. The charming hostess makes it even nicer. We’ve stayed for years and try to return every year and a half or so. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.
