Bondi Beach E

The views are phenomenal and the furniture is very modern, but there are roaches all over the place. I got up for water at 1:47am and killed several in the kitchen. I'm terrified to sleep now. I even have pictures. I'm currently staying here.

The beach area is immaculate, and that's the one reason we'd return, but we'd choose somewhere else to stay. We were in Unit 1, and it badly needs attention. We arrived at 14.30 while cleaning was still underway, and the previous visitors' dishes were left in the dishwasher for us to unpack. There's no WiFi or cleaning service, no hair dryer or suitable adaptor plugs, and nowhere to store groceries or vegetables. The place doesn't work for a modern family. Several things were broken or in poor shape: the aircon, kettle and toaster didn't work, the shower sliding door stuck, and the toilets kept running. Lights were out at the bedlamp, main bathroom, third bedroom and inside entrance. The bathroom 2 door won't close unless you unplug the washing machine's extension cable. The pool in the complex was green, and fence poles along the tennis courts were broken down to the ground. The old furniture and kitchen, cheap non-blockout curtains, and balcony chairs without seat cushions made it very uncomfortable. Being on the ground floor isn't a plus. At this daily price, you can definitely find a lot better.

You can walk straight onto the beach from this neat, tidy, safe place. There's a pool, games room and more for the family. No cleaning service is included, unfortunately, but we'd definitely come back.

The apartment had everything we needed close at hand, and it was so quiet that sometimes all you could hear was the waves. We were happy enough to book it again for January.
