The venue is lovely and spacious, with plenty of parking and it's literally on the beach. Some areas need maintenance, but otherwise it's worth it. The two sisters on staff are welcoming and always accommodating. I'll definitely book again.

The only real plus was access to the beach. We'd thought about staying longer after seeing the misleading pictures on the website, but once we arrived we couldn't wait to leave. The pool that was meant to sparkle was green. The beds were terribly hard and uncomfortable, the stove had rotted away and looked too scary to use, and the fridge didn't work properly. They helped with our late booking, but then told us to pay cash or pay R50 extra. They also forgot to mention that towels aren't supplied.

The new owners of Shore Breakers deserve a big shout-out. We had a great October break, just what we needed: friendly staff, a clean chalet and a perfect location on the South Coast. We'll be back!

We had an amazing 10days here. The location is spot on, right on the beach, and our chalet was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and did their jobs without intruding on our privacy. A few things could use attention: the shower and tap were broken when you come up from the beach. A sharp kitchen knife, some lidded plastic containers for the fridge, a braai dish for meat and a glass salad bowl would help.
