Lion Sands Tinga Lodge

Waking up to the spectacular lodge and scenery was heaven, and the rooms were just as lovely. We stayed two nights at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge, and from the airport pickup onward the experience felt five star. All the staff were smiling, chatty and treated us like family. We'll miss them. Liv, our guide, and Isaac, our tracker, made each drive fantastic with their wildlife knowledge and tracking skills, plus plenty of fun and laughter. Pinky, our butler, took care of every detail. There was so much delicious food, and every meal felt like a treat. Cindy was fantastic at the spa, which we'd highly recommend. For future guests, we'd suggest three nights to get the most from the drives and lodge.

A special stay, partly because the property isn't fenced, so you encounter animals and feel genuinely out in the bush. The lodge is beautiful, and the staff worked hard to meet our requests. Edmust was an amazing butler. Mo and Kruger, our guide and tracker, made sure we had fun, saw as many animals as possible and learned about the bush, all while respecting the habitat. Highly recommend.

From arrival to departure, my stay at Lion Sands Tinga was exceptional. The food and drinks, luxury accommodation, thoughtful touches, dedicated service team, guiding and game viewing all made it extra special. My wife and I spent four honeymoon nights at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge, and the stay was fantastic, from the lodge and rooms to the service and housekeeping. The wildlife and drives were the most important part for us, and Aaron and Hendry, our field guide and tracker, were especially good. Their knowledge of the bush, wildlife and birds made each drive educational, while their jokes and conversation made the experience even better.
