Mosaic Lagoon Lodge

The views were incredible, and the spa was just what we needed. Our children were made to feel at home by the accommodating team, and the swimming facilities were great. It was a special experience, with luxury set among nature, and the food was excellent. Thanks, Mosaic team! We'd love to come back.

My daughter and I really enjoyed Mosaic Lagoon Lodge. We had a luxurious, comfortable suite, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we also had some spa treatments.

We were there for three nights in April 24, two adults and two children. The resort is tiny and sits right beside the lagoon, so we got to know everyone quickly. The staff were fantastic and worked hard to make the stay special. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, and we especially liked the wood fired hot tub. The food was good, though the choice was limited, which makes sense for a small place. A more basic kids menu would have helped, even though our kids are adventurous. The resort welcomes children, but knowing what we know now, I might have picked the Coot Club next door, which we visited for kayaking and seemed more geared to families. We were on an all inclusive package, including wine, but there was just one red and one white. In a country known for wine, that was disappointing. It would be nice to see different bottles each evening. The activities were included and we enjoyed them, especially the quad bikes and river cruise. Some details could make them better: chairs and snacks halfway through the nature walk, and a more set up beach visit with chairs, games, and a waiter serving drinks. Kayaking was fun, though self guided. I think it would work better with a guide along. One practical note: the resort is at the end of a long, rough track. They were resurfacing most of it while we were there, which should make a big difference. I'd recommend Mosaic, though I'd think carefully about bringing children.
