The place has plenty of space and is conveniently located, with a large supermarket nearby for stocking up for the week. Getting to the town center is possible, though it’s more of a taxi trip than a casual walk. The owner’s children have impressive energy, and when they show up they certainly keep things lively. A few minor technical improvements would make the stay more comfortable. The mosquito repellent they provided was spectacularly ineffective, so each evening became a battle. I skipped breakfast, which was underwhelming at best. The cheese boards at local wineries were much more inspiring. There’s character here, and it can be enjoyable if you’re okay with the lively ambience, but it wasn’t quite the refined retreat I’d hoped for.

My room, number 4, opened onto a little stoep with a view of the garden and small splash pool. It was a comfortable place to stay, with cozy bedding, air conditioning and an electric blanket. I especially liked the fairy lights in the bedroom, and the colorful artworks around the modern, well-appointed guesthouse. There was complimentary sherry as well as tea, coffee, rusks and a small fridge. I had breakfast, and the fireplace in the breakfast room added a nice atmosphere. Parking inside the yard felt safe, and the hostess and staff were friendly and helpful without hovering.

The location gave me easy access to local attractions while staying peaceful and quiet. I spent three nights at Absolute Bosch Guest House and really enjoyed it. Liza-Mari and her staff were attentive and welcoming from the start, and made me feel at home. My room was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished, a cozy place to relax. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable, comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a nice view and garden where we could relax. The owner was positive and very welcoming. Definitely recommend this guest house.
