Breakfast was great, and the rooms were really comfortable, especially the beds. Such a calm, relaxing, peaceful place.

The meals are mouthwatering, and the views are fantastic. There’s a natural swimming pool, sauna, and steam room too. The staff are friendly and professional, and many have worked there for 20 years, which says a lot about their experience. It’s really worth it, hard to find many experiences that compare. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, private setting, surrounded by nature. The gardens and balcony are lovely places to relax and enjoy the peaceful views. There’s a natural pool with frogs, a treated pool, hot tub, and wet and dry saunas. The family-owned boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the Winelands, immaculately maintained, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The only letdown was the internet connection. That small issue didn’t take away from an exceptional stay. Highly recommended if you’re looking to relax somewhere beautiful and secluded.

The food was the real highlight for me. The Kingklip and rack of lamb were excellent, and although it’s a set menu each day, the chef can adapt a meal to suit particular tastes. Troye and the staff were very friendly, and the service was high quality. I stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of September, and it was a really relaxing experience. It’s a beautiful spot off the beaten track, with good sauna and steam room facilities. You can flag Ubers there, but allow an average of 20 minutes for one to show up in the app. The hotel can also arrange a private driver and car. It’s a 5 star hotel with the friendly feel of a guesthouse.
