I felt well looked after here, with friendly, attentive service and a spotless, well-kept room. Safe parking was a real comfort too. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend this welcoming guesthouse in a well-situated part of Stellenbosch.

The breakfast could offer a bit more variety, but my three nights at Baruch were lovely. The staff were polite, attentive, and professional, the room and amenities were perfect, and they had some ways to manage load shedding. Update, 14 Feb 2024: They now have fully working solar, which was amazing in 37 degrees and during stage 6 load shedding. I would have liked the water in my room replaced daily. Thanks, though, and I’ll see you again soon.

The pool and pleasant spots to relax were a nice bonus, and the guesthouse is in a lovely suburb. I had one of my best guest house stays here, with great rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was good too. I’d highly recommend staying here.
