The vintage art and objects around the country lodge brought back happy memories for us, and the rooms were comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Hanneke and her mother Wilna were such rare gems. When I thought all was lost, they helped me with a placement. Thank you both for restoring my faith in human kindness ❤️ ♥️

This was our third visit with my Beautiful Gate team, this time for our staff party. The atmosphere is peaceful, the venue is clean, and it has a lovely vintage feel. There are peacocks too. The staff are so friendly, the service from Lalela is top tier, and the food is delicious. If you're after somewhere quiet to relax, visit. Ngiphuma nokudla kwabo!! 10 over 10.

The setting is beautiful and so peaceful, a lovely place to slow down. Breakfast was a highlight, with good options that really hit the spot. The food I tried was fresh and full of flavor, and the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. I love spending time here. It's a real gem for relaxing and having good food, and I'd definitely recommend a visit.
