Wonderful hosts, a really clean and tidy place, and the most comfortable bed. A great place to stay.

Bettie is full of expert tips and suggestions for things to do, and the breakfast is plentiful. The pool is so clear and clean you won’t want to leave. The rooms are spacious, bright and very clean, bathrooms included, with everything you could want at this price. Your car is secure behind the electric sliding gate. It’s a very quiet house and a good base for exploring Summerstrand, Franchhoek and Cape Town by rental car. Do drive to Stellenbosch town centre, though, even if Google Maps makes it look walkable. The family were friendly and helpful, with plenty of tips, and breakfast was delicious. My room was lovely and spotlessly clean. There’s a large, friendly dog and a small pool that’s just right for cooling off. Highly recommended for a night’s stay.
