There's a wild downhill mountain bike track and a full BMX and dirt bike park right in the backyard. Look up @darkfest on instagram to see it. I also loved staying on the farm itself. Geese greet you at the entrance, then there are dogs, horses and other animals all around. It feels calm and safe, close to Stellenbosch, with a lovely atmosphere. The guest house is decorated with a nice blend of old furniture, paintings and artwork, and the views are amazing. I saw some of the best sunsets there. The staff and family are all super nice and do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

We were so disappointed by the rooms and the general setup, especially for such a high price. Our room didn't have the aircon on, though the listing said it did. Breakfast wasn't worth what we paid either. There were lots of staff around, but none seemed to know what was happening. All in all, a really disappointing stay. I would NOT recommend it.

We had the spacious house to ourselves for much of our stay, with stunning mountains all around. There are walks, wineries and mountain bike routes to explore. Dave gave us a very warm welcome at the gate, then JP greeted us at the manor. Thanks again for hosting us. JP was friendly and had a great nothing-is-a-problem attitude. We'll definitely stay longer next time, and it would be great for a family getaway.

This is a lovely farm outside Stellenbosch, close to some of the best wine farms. We felt right at home, and the rooms were very clean, with staff looking after our well-being. The house has a real love for detail. They offer great catering and lots of insider tips, too. I definitely recommend it for short or longer stays. I'll be back to explore more of South Africa's wine and culture. Thanks again, Skyview, you were amazing!

A definite must if you're travelling to the area. The manor sits in a breathtaking setting, and the rooms are comfortable with an eclectic elegance. We hiked and cycled up hills and around vineyards, taking in those promised views. Such a beautiful place.
