We stayed from Friday to Sunday and had no hot water in the unit the whole time. They also warned that flushing the toilet too many times would use up the hot water, yes, really. For this price and location, it felt like an absolute ripoff.

The place was dirty when we arrived, and we didn't like how we were treated. They should say they only want senior citizens and non-colored people. The caretaker didn't like us, and she should be released from her job. She's a pensioner, so why keep working there and getting on the youngsters' nerves? Please retire so The Tides can have more visitors.

The self-catering place had everything we needed, and it was close to the beach. There was a nice braai by the pool or upstairs too. What more could you want for a vacation?
