Beautiful, quiet place, and we loved every minute. The room felt luxurious and stylish, with quality throughout. I just wish I’d known the breakfast was things left in the fridge. Apart from that, 10/10.

We loved our time at Riverbed Guesthouse and will definitely return. The outdoor seating was a favourite, with its stunning mountain view, and easy access to the river and nearby hiking trail made the stay extra special. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, high-quality bedding, and plush towels. It’s in a truly beautiful location.

We were warmly welcomed into a beautiful, modern room with everything well equipped. It opened onto a lovely deck and a pool with mountain views.

The garden and pool are a peaceful little gem, and restaurants are within walking distance. It felt safe getting to them even at night. Melani and her team look after four small self-catering apartments in a lovely spot near the river with mountain views. A nice, safe place to stay. We’ll come back!

The sound of the river and the mountain views were divine. I loved hearing the birds during the day and frogs at night, and Swellamdam was a delight. We had the best stay at A Riverbed. Melani was so welcoming, and the room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped.
