I spent three weeks at AVIENTO and felt right at home. Juanita, the hostess and owner, was excellent, friendly, and always ready to help. The staff were respectful and friendly too. My room was spacious, very clean, and had crisp fresh linen. It’s a quiet area, with restaurants within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in beautiful Swellendam.

Juanita even got up at midnight to help us find accommodation, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was neat, clean, and so comfortable, and the breakfast was divine. We had an amazing stay at Aviento, in a lovely part of Swellies, and would definitely return. Thanks again to such an amazing host.

We only spent one night in Swellendam at Aviento, but had a really pleasant stay. The host was very friendly, breakfast was delicious, and our clean room had everything we needed while backpacking. One suggestion for the budget room: there’s no toilet door, and a sliding door would be nice if space is the issue. Best, Lark & Olivia

The host was always around to help with anything we needed. We had a great time at Aviento, with a cozy, nicely decorated room and excellent breakfast and coffee. There was a good range of choices on the breakfast menu.

The facilities were comfortable and very professional, and Dewald and Juanita were wonderful hosts. They even showed me around the Historical town of Swellendam. Thank you for your hospitality. May God bless you and your family.
