Langeberg Guest Lodge

Beate and Michael were such friendly, attentive hosts. Our room was clean and nice, and the breakfast spread was top notch. A gem in Swellemdam. We'll be back soon.

Michael and Beate made us feel right at home at Langeberg Guest Lodge. We had a large room, a modern, clean bathroom, and a tasty, filling breakfast. Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay at Langeberg Gues Lodge when I visit Swellendam again.

The breakfast was lovingly put together, with lots of healthy things from their own garden. I did miss cold cuts. Nearby, there are restaurants, supermarkets, a gas station, and everything else you need. Our room was very clean, and aside from a TV, we didn't feel we were missing anything. The internet was very weak in our room, perhaps because it was too far from the router, though it worked very well in the breakfast room. After several nights in standardized, anonymous places, we really appreciated the personal, warm hosting from Beate and Michael. They welcomed us themselves and explained the accommodation and area in detail. We felt very comfortable with them, and highly recommend staying here.

I was lucky to be the first guest since lockdown began. This place is open, while all the other places I tried in town are closed either temporarily or permanently. The welcome was very friendly and accommodating. The TV could be better, but the Wi-Fi works. Breakfast isn't available yet, so we'll make other arrangements.
