We arrived quite spontaneously after our other accommodation fell through. The family room was new, very clean, and had a comfortable mattress. Breakfast was great, and the staff were super nice. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, and it’s a good base for a day visit to De Hoop Nature Reserve. We’d definitely come back.
Breakfast on the sunny porch was the best part of our morning, and the hosts had thoughtfully made sure there were options for us as vegetarians. We loved the place. The owners have created a very new guest house with lots of attention to detail, and the room was high quality, with a comfortable bed and everything working properly. They also accommodated our late check-in and gave us plenty of suggestions for restaurants, bars, and things to do in Swellendam. Lovely location and lovely hosts. We’d happily book again and recommend it.
Next time, when we come with friends, we might choose the apartment. It looked roomy and comfortable. We had a nice room this time, and found the place quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a good breakfast. The central location was handy too.
The rooms were amazing, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. Bianca and her team went out of their way to make the stay as good as possible. Probably the best guest house we’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much!
My friends and I had a really enjoyable stay, and we’d definitely recommend it. The breakfast was wonderful, the location was good, and everything was well equipped with the amenities we needed. Friendly staff and good value for money, too.
