We were only at Moffid's place for about 14 hours while getting ready for our wedding weekend, but it may be one of our favourite spots in SA. The house is beautiful and tastefully done, though the experience was about more than the setting. Simon welcomed us with lovely music, a fire, and conversation. It felt like a genuine taste of Afrikaans and local hospitality, culture, and heritage. We're already looking forward to returning. I've got a strong urge to cook a poitjie in the lounge fireplace, with special local wines by the pool.

The view was such a delight, and the house has old wooden floors and leather. It's in town, but feels just a little outside it, and I think that's where the magic begins. There's a playful, loving cat who lives around here. We really enjoyed our stay. Until next time!

This felt like an absolute scam. When we arrived, another family was renting the property long term. We tried to reach the listed hosts, Oena escapes, but the service was atrocious. It's sad to see a brand that seems strong in hospitality offer such poor customer service.

I spent just one night there, all by myself, and it was wonderful. The place was beautiful and clean, with lovely music playing all night. I loved the cat too. I don't know if he was meant to, but he slept with me! I want to come back already. Marna

The quiet countryside setting and quaint views were lovely. It was a beautiful room in a restored heritage home, with a comfy bed and good WiFi. We got a warm welcome too. I'd definitely stay again.
