From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and well cared for. Our stay was truly wonderful, with everything going smoothly and a lot of positive energy. The host is an absolute gem, warm, kind, and so welcoming. I really fell for his hospitality, good manners, and friendly attitude. Highly, highly recommended. We’d come back 1000% 🤗❤️

The garden and pool were lovely, and the location was great. The room had everything we needed, with a nice modern touch in the old building. I did feel uneasy about the worn wooden stairs leading up to the top room.

Our DC team had a great stay here. The rooms and shared entertainment areas were lovely, and it was close to both the city and the start line. The owners were accommodating, and the whole experience was great.

We were stopping overnight on the way from Knysna to Cape Town, and the central location worked well. It’s a heritage property, with a warm, comfortable, well-equipped room, and it was dog friendly. Etienne was a great host. We enjoyed the lounge, the welcome sherry, and watching Wimbledon tennis there. Parking off the street felt safe, and the English breakfast we chose was excellent value.

Ettienne gave us a relaxed but professional introduction and plenty of useful information. The facilities were excellent, and parking right by the room was very convenient. Swellendam at its best, and a memorable part of our holiday. Thank you!
