A real little paradise, a diamond in the rough. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast made this a great stopover for anyone wanting to skip the bustle of CPT on the way into Africa.

Karin was helpful and informative, with suggestions for places to visit and dinner restaurants. The room was nice and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the patio looked out onto a beautiful green garden, a pleasant spot to relax. Breakfast was just OK: plenty of fruit to start, but the cereal and eggs were boring. My main complaint was the dogs, which I found a nuisance. Someone less bothered by dogs might rate the stay 4 stars.

There are several guest houses here and a wonderful garden. It's a lovely place to stay in Swellendam, with enough food places nearby. I'd recommend it.
