We hated having to leave this wonderful stop on our way to the Cederberg. Everything was clean, lovely, and welcoming, with fresh flowers in every room and handmade room sprays. Braam greeted us with so much warmth and humor, and made us feel at home right away.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and I won’t choose anywhere else in Swellendam. The beds and bedding are the best, and the place has everything we need. We’ve only visited in winter, but the hosts make sure it’s cozy, with wall heaters, two wood fires, electric blankets, and thick blankets. Braam is thoughtful, quick to respond, and so welcoming. We’ll be back 🥰

Already looking forward to booking another visit. The cottage had everything we needed, plus a bit more, and felt wonderfully relaxed. The host was friendly and gave us useful information about the area. Many thanks, Rose Haven.

We’d love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the garden and pool. For our cold-weather visit, the wood-burning stove was lovely, and the cozy cottage had everything we needed, including things we hadn’t thought to ask for. The hosts were wonderful and had put fresh flowers in every room.

Braam greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. The place was lovely and so well equipped, with thoughtful little details everywhere. I especially liked the tiny flower arrangements. We’ll definitely be back, thank you!
