Mowana Game Farm

It’s a beautiful farm, but the service was pathetic and cleanliness seemed less important to the owners than spots on the carpets. The wood cabin was in bad shape: dirty cutlery, a used shaver in the shower, dusty cobwebs everywhere, and a non-working aircon. Chalet 3 had a blocked toilet on our first day, so we had to move to Chalet 1, where the fridge door wouldn’t close. We also had to wait for clean towels and bedding. The aircon in Chalet 2 didn’t work for all three days, even though previous guests had reported it in September. We were told the filters were dirty. Then a permanent resident shot at geese on the dam in front of our chalet, putting us in the firing line. We were told he could do as he pleased because it was his property. We’ll never visit MOWANA again. Please beware and don’t spoil your holiday like we did.
