Kings Walden Garden Manor

The garden and swimming pool have a fantastic view, and the property makes a lovely base for trips around the area, especially to the Magoebaskloof. We wanted to stay longer and would absolutely recommend it. The owners welcomed us warmly and were hospitable from the start. Walter went out of his way to make everything comfortable, and the service was excellent. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We were so lucky to elope at Kings Walden. The place and the team will stay in our hearts, and they played a huge part in making the day unforgettable. Kings Walden isn’t just a venue, it’s a feeling. Everyone went out of their way to welcome and support us. The staff were incredibly friendly, present and helpful. The owner is a gem and made us feel at home right away, bringing a calm, sincere warmth to the experience. And the venue is breathtaking, from the lush, enchanted gardens to the elegant interiors. Every corner feels like a storybook. That bathroom deserves its own mention, I could live in there! We’ll never forget the magic of that place.

We’ll always treasure the beautiful wedding Kings Walden gave us. It’s also a wonderful place for a romantic break or a peaceful escape from city life, with spacious, well-kept rooms where you can feel close to nature. The views across Tzaneen are breathtaking, and the food was the highest quality at breakfast, lunch and supper. The place is very clean and neat, with the best view in Limpopo. The owners are amazing, the staff are the friendliest, and the service was excellent. Definitely recommended for weddings.

We spent our honeymoon here, and having a private picnic in the garden was such a special moment. The whole area is green, peaceful and charming. The manor is beautiful, with lush gardens and breathtaking views. Marike, who runs the place with her husband Hannes, gave us a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing. Do have dinner here, you won’t regret it.
