Tzaneen Guest House

I slept peacefully and got good service and hospitality during my three days there. Petronella was the highlight of my stay. It was quieter than others had said, and the air-conditioning wasn't as loud as they claimed. There wasn't much food choice, but for its location, the place is a good fit. I didn't have any major downsides. Thanks, guys.

The rooms were cleaned every day, and the location was the one good thing here. Everything else was a mess. There was no hot water, and breakfast was a complete fail. The coffee tasted awful and dry, as if it had expired. They had no tea, sugar, or milk, and brought us cold water for the coffee. There's no restaurant on site or microwave in the room. We did have a kettle, but no cups or tea supplies, so what was it for? The blankets were old and worn. During a power outage, they didn't even tell us what was happening, and we couldn't charge our phones. I would never recommend this place.

The hospitality was poor and unprofessional. You have to pick up towels at reception, and there are no tea supplies in the room. The rooms are stuffy and have cockroaches. The place is old and needs improvement, the bedding is unpleasant, and there's an awful smell in the showers. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Dirty bedding, and I woke up to find there was no water anywhere in the room. I went to reception to report it, but there was nobody there. I rang the bell marked "ring for service" over and over, and still nobody came. We left around 06h15, and the reception was still empty, with the gate wide open. It was the worst experience ever. I'll never set foot there again, and I'd advise anyone to think twice.
