We came as three sisters and our husbands, six of us in all, to celebrate a birthday at Ocean Villa. Andile was quick to respond and clearly cared about making our stay good, while the support staff were just as kind and attentive. The place is modern, very comfortable, and spacious enough for everyone to relax without getting in each other's way. We had a lovely time staying in, cooking, sharing meals, catching up, and playing games. It felt like home. When we wanted to head out, Chartwell Drive was only a short walk away, with restaurants, shops, and everything else we needed nearby. The whole stay was easy and joyful, and we left with great memories and full hearts.

Terrible place to stay. The noise went on night after night, and management did nothing after we complained. Security just looked the other way. The second bedroom's double bed has a hollow in it. The main bedroom bathroom smelled of urine, and the lower part of the apartment had a damp, musty smell. The swimming area has seen better days too.

For a business trip, this was just what I needed. Clean, pleasant, and well maintained, with friendly staff and good value for money. I'd recommend it.

The apartments feel very old and dated for Umhlanga, and there's no air-conditioning in the rooms. The ocean view doesn't make up for the poor value. I'd rate it 2/10.

The room was spacious and very clean, and it felt like a home away from home for the night. The security guard at the gate was especially friendly, and the staff were kind too.
