Willow, my little furry companion, was relaxed and happy the whole time, and even had grilled chicken breast for dinner and breakfast. That made the stay extra special. We stayed in the stunning Room 1 Amazon Forest Suite, where the beautiful details made it feel comfortable and elegant. The property was gorgeous, the food was exceptional, with dinner and breakfast both top tier. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels luxurious and homely at once. The hospitality was outstanding.

Athiliah was a lovely host with a great personality and sense of humour. Whenever I had a little problem, she found a solution, and I really appreciated how she made sure I was safe on my solocation and settled in quickly. The place itself is amazing, pristine, and tranquil, with spacious rooms and everything conveniently placed for comfort. There’s plenty of seating outside in the sun, by the pool and upstairs on the balcony. Thanks for a lovely weekend, Athiliah!

Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the host was friendly and responsive. The location was both convenient and quiet, so it was easy to unwind. I had a really pleasant stay last weekend. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with what I needed for a relaxed visit. I’d recommend it and would happily stay again.

Athiliah, the hostess, is a wonderful person who cares deeply about hospitality and takes it to a level I’ve never experienced. I felt right at home and safe leaving my luggage in the room while I went about my business. I even took night swims in the pool. The food deserves its own mention, 11/10 😩. Shelbourne Boutique Lodge is an amazing place to stay, whether you’re in Durban for work, a honeymoon, or a family getaway.

The accommodation was neat and very clean, pet friendly, and the food was amazing. Athiliah went above and beyond to meet our needs and was wonderful in every way. Such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. We can’t wait to visit again. Well done, Athiliah.
