Seeing sharks so close for the first time was incredible. I never expected that my first trip out to see dolphins would also bring whales, flying fish, and sharks. The whole outing was wonderful, and I’d love to come back and experience it all again. A big thank you to the instructors, especially Zaynne. He was great to be around and learn from, kept us safe, and talked us through each step in detail. Thanks to everyone 🙏

The Raggie Bonanza was surreal, with so many Raggies right there up close. I’ll definitely recommend diving with this crew and book another dive. Mariaan was friendly and professional from my first WhatsApp message through to the dive. My DM, Zynn, was excellent as a buddy and even took footage. He made the dive much more enjoyable, and I felt completely safe.

The swell and surge were high, but the owner still managed to get us to a dive site worth remembering, with Dion as Dive Master. The owner's daughter also took GoPro video and pictures for me. The staff were awesome from my first WhatsApp and call with Marion right through to getting the gear and heading out. If you have a choice, go here. The family really looked after my diving needs. They were just awesome!

Aliwal Dive Centre is good value for money, and I’d highly recommend them for diving and accommodation at Aliwal Shoal. The team made sure I was comfortable both during the stay and on the dives. Their equipment was reliable and well maintained.

The dive sites were world class, with striking topography and plenty of marine life. We even saw lots of whales breaching on the way out, which was a special part of the trip. The dive centre was very clean, the gear in good condition, and safety clearly mattered to the team, including when launching the boats through the surf.
