The owners were super friendly and helpful, and I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The lodge is charming and comfy, with an astonishing mountain view and pretty surroundings. It's a great base for exploring the Drakensberg mountains and getting away from the big cities. I only wish I'd stayed longer. I had a FANTASTIC stay.

Owner-run, conveniently located, and a great self-catering cottage. Thanks, Barry and Jen.

The mountain view is to die for, and the room was comfortable, classy and really well done. Thanks to J&B for being such great hosts. What a beautiful place to stay.

We didn't want for anything in this lovely self-catering cottage for 2 people. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating, and shops are easy to get to if you need them. We'll definitely be going back.

I've stayed in lots of self-catering places, but never anywhere so beautiful. Barry was an amazing host, available straight away whenever we needed something. The chalet had everything, and there was no need to ask for anything. I didn't have braai charcoal, so Barry made sure I got some. Definitely coming back.
