The surroundings are beautiful, and it’s a peaceful spot for a getaway. There’s no WiFi, though DSTV is available, and the rate is good for a place with what you need for an overnight stay. A few upkeep issues stood out: the room had cobwebs and wall marks, and the heaters were badly cracked. The bedroom blinds let people see in when the lights are on. The main door handle is partly broken, and there’s no soap provided. The shower also has nowhere to put shampoo, so you have to crouch down to pick things up from the floor.

We ended up looking for somewhere else in the middle of the night, and didn’t get a refund. The house was dirty and smelled terrible, with dusty rooms, dirty towels, and damp-smelling, mouldy carpets. There were frogs inside, too. There was no security at all: the gate wouldn’t lock and the door handles were broken. I wish I could show the actual photos of the place, because they look different from what you see on Google. Save your money.

The garden is so pretty and well looked after, and the stoep is amazing. We’re here for the weekend now and really recommend this lovely cottage. It’s clean and well equipped.

We found it clean and had everything we needed for a night’s stopover, at a good price. If we do Sani2c again, we’d definitely book here.

A quiet, peaceful place where it feels like you’re in your own home. I’d recommend it and would definitely come back as a pair. With the family, I’d consider the log cabin. Rated 4 stars. Stay blessed 💞
