Arquila Guesthouse

I’ve already asked to book again for my next trip to or through Upington. This place is pure luxury, with large bedrooms and thick, heavy curtains that make you want to sleep in. After a breakfast that was almost too much, I’d come back to find my room spotless every morning. My fried eggs, bacon, sausage, and whatever else appeared in front of me in just two minutes and thirty seconds. The friendly feel among the seven tables got us visitors chatting briefly. The welcome when I arrived was super friendly. I spent four nights at this guesthouse, which deserves five stars.

Arquila’s staff are incredibly friendly, and you get whatever you need on time. It was an absolutely amazing experience, and I’m loving it. The place was easy to find, and I’ll definitely visit again.

The owners really go out of their way to make you comfortable. The rooms are good, and the neighborhood is pleasant and private. When you’re in Upington, you have to book here.

Our room was too close to the kitchen, and we were woken every morning at 7 o’clock. I never saw a manager or owner during our stay. Management service was very, very bad, and our room was cleaned only once in four days. This guest house is for Spanish locals, not foreign travelers!!!!!
