They gave us such a warm welcome and recommended a superb dinner spot, Red Ox. It was a pleasant stay. The only downside was loud music in the area and motor vehicles revving their engines, which wasn't the hosts' fault.

Dannie En Charmaine, the hosts, were very rude and both drunk. When we invited friends over, they treated us like animals. At one point Charmaine told me to “sit op jou gat.” We canceled our booking and got our money back through booking. Com after sending them all the nasty messages from the owners. Once again, white people in Upington are still racist and think black people don't have money or are educated, even though we're more educated than they are.

There’s a swimming pool, air conditioning, and an undercover braai area to use, and it's close to Kalahari mall, shops, and restaurants. The place is clean, neat, and nicely decorated. I was impressed by the hospitality and value for money, and would stay again when passing through.

We arrived late, without a booking, but they still helped us find accommodation. Such friendly people. I'll absolutely stay here again!!!👍 😀
