The outdoor space and atmosphere were wonderful, and the staff were so friendly. I had a great stay and would happily recommend the place. Next time, I’m bringing the rest of my family. Thanks for such a lovely experience!

I spent six nights here on a business trip and would happily recommend Country Lodge, Upington for work or a getaway. I’ll be back. The chalets have great braai facilities, and having a butchery with quality cuts right next door was a bonus. The owners and staff were all lovely, and the property is beautifully cared for. My room was spotless. Johnny and Nicolene made us feel welcome, and I really enjoyed the conversations around the fire. Thanks for making the stay feel special.

I checked in on 26 June and was given the best chalet. It’s a pleasant, quiet spot, though it felt somewhat hostile. In winter, how are guests meant to go all night without using the air-con? The breakfast wasn’t very good either.

The owners are friendly and clearly take good care of the Lodge. They check that guests are comfortable and that everything is as expected. Our accommodation was perfect, and after a hot day in the Upington sun, the clean swimming pool was a welcome way to cool down. Well done to the owners and management team!

The place looks lovely inside and out, and everything was neat, tidy and up to a good standard. We got a warm welcome and excellent service. The manageress is a lovely person who went out of her way to make our stay just right. The price was very reasonable for what you get, too. I’d recommend staying here. Keep it up.
