The garden is lovely, the pool is a good size, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at Upington Inn, and the breakfast was excellent. It’s well worth including in your package. Just watch out for the big biting ants. Our main issue was the family room. It had fewer amenities than the double rooms other family members used. There was no sink for washing a baby bottle and no microwave for warming food, and we didn’t have enough storage, so our luggage stayed on the floor. The power runs through the access card, which switches off the fridge when you leave for the day. A bar fridge uses very little power, so I don’t understand that setup. It’s a beautiful place to stay for the price, and we’d like to come back when we’re in town. I hope they sort out those room issues first.

A good option for business travel. The room was very spacious, with air conditioning that worked well, plus a bar fridge, microwave and small kitchenette for some self catering.

The breakfast was in a league of its own, especially the cold buffet, one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. The rooms were okay and had what you need, but mine was noisy because it was near the maintenance room. It also needed a bit of upkeep: the toilet handle had to be put back up, or water kept running.

Spent my birthday weekend here and had an amazing time. The garden is gorgeous, with a pool and play area, and the place is family friendly and great for Instagram photos. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were super friendly. I’d definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend it. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the pool was nice, and breakfast was delicious.
