Green Kalahari Guesthouse

They made everything feel easy and relaxed, with a warm atmosphere and no visible stress, even though you can tell how much hard work goes into the place. I’d give the laid-back feeling 10/10, and the high standard of service without any strain showing another 10/10. Cleanliness, style, food, and service were all immaculate, and we felt genuinely welcome. The owners checked us in themselves at night, and were accommodating, professional, and happy to chat even at that hour. They asked thoughtful questions and suggested good nearby places to eat. Breakfast was ready early, and the quality of the spread showed how much care they’d put into it. They genuinely love hosting and entertaining, and she makes a demanding hospitality job look effortless. Some guesthouses run efficiently and offer great service, but you can see the staff feeling the strain. Here, the effort shows in the results, without you feeling pressure or stress behind the scenes. What an absolute gem. I’d definitely choose this place again if I stay in Upington.
