What a letdown. The garden was untidy, the gate had to be pushed open, and there was no hot water. The taps were so stiff I could hardly turn them. There was also a cracked cup and just one spoon.

They don’t answer calls or return them, so I couldn’t make a booking. Maybe they’re permanently closed? They should at least return calls.

The location is good, but the walkways don’t drain well. I wouldn’t recommend going during heavy rain.

The bed was really comfortable, but there were a lot of problems. Google said I’d arrived when I’d turned into the neighbour’s yard, and my car got dented by their gate. There’s no clear sign from the road to identify the B+B. I also found cobwebs with spiders, and there was mould in the shower. The taps were hard to adjust, and the water kept switching between hot and cold for no reason. The single room door didn’t work properly, the mirror was mounted too low, and the WiFi had no internet connection.

The accommodation was outstanding, and the area felt safe. The hostess was very helpful and moved us closer to our vehicle so loading and unloading our luggage would be easier. Everything was very clean and tidy.
