The breakdown near Vryburg on our way back from Namibia could have ended with my vehicle burning out. I disconnected the battery in time, then took it to Visa Auto Electrical, where Jannie quickly got someone started on rewiring it. We spent two nights at Hanekraai B & B while the work was done. Jannie kept us updated by mobile and put in 12 hours on the wiring. By 11:00 on the second day, we were heading home, thanks to him and his team. He even reduced the labour charge and handed me the burned wires as a reminder of how close things came. The B & B owner also went out of her way to help us, including driving us to the workshop. The accommodation was neat and tidy. Thank you, Jannie and team, and our salute to the Hanekraai B & B owner.

On arrival we were given cookies with our coffee 😊. The host was lovely, and the neat, clean room had air-conditioning, a TV, WiFi and DStv. It was just right for a stopover, with shops and other amenities nearby.

The Andalusian room is right by the exit gate, which made coming and going easy and still gave us a secure feeling. Mornings had a pleasant farm-like feel, and this little B&B served a generous breakfast from 7-9 for R70 per person. Good value. I'd happily recommend it as a place to stop overnight.

We were welcomed wonderfully, and everything else was good 😘. I wasn't sure whether breakfast is served, but we didn't get any.

The lady of the house brought us tea or coffee when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean, with air-conditioning and warm showers. A really nice place, I do recommend it.
