The owner is always available to help, and the staff are friendly. It's clean too, and the best place to stay in Vryheid.

We were booked in during the snowstorm weekend, and the caring staff made sure we had enough gas heaters around us. They also served us beverages despite the weather. Friendly, caring staff and a great place to stay.

The area was peaceful, and the room was tidy. Breakfast was good too. But the borehole water smelled like eggs, which made taking a bath or shower unpleasant.

There was no update after our booking was confirmed, so arriving to find out we’d been moved to another establishment was frustrating. Villa Imperial was full, apparently, even though the other booking had been made after ours. I appreciate someone trying to sort it out, but the replacement was cheaper than Villa Prince Imperial and we still had to pay the Villa Prince price. The service was very, very bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this establishment.

We could often hear the neighbours chatting because our room was close to theirs. Still, there was a lot to like here: a big, well-kept garden with swings for children, a fridge in the room, and a water dispenser in the shared lounge that was handy in the hot summer. The room and bathroom were both spacious, and you can choose air conditioning or a ceiling fan. Great value for money in Vryheid. I’d definitely book here again.
