The balcony overlooking the lagoon was a lovely place to unwind, and the Weber braai and fully equipped kitchenette made it easy to cook our own meals. We stayed a week in Rhea Cottage during the second week of December 2025. Although we’re not newlyweds, it felt like a perfect couples’ retreat. The king-size bed was very comfortable, with an electric blanket for cooler nights and air conditioning for hot days. My husband and I have stayed at Rudi Cottage several times and love that home-away-from-home feeling.

Paul was great. We arrived a little late for check-in, and he helped us quickly with no fuss. The place is modern, stylish, and quiet, which made it really relaxing. The amenities show a lot of thought for guests’ comfort. In the kitchen there were useful extras like salt, pepper, popcorn spice, cooking oil, plus coffee and tea. Highly recommend.

We’d definitely recommend Cloverleigh. The place was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped, and felt very secure. Paul was so welcoming when we arrived and was extremely accommodating when we made a last-minute booking request.

I wish we’d booked more than two nights. The heated seawater pool was a highlight, and the location made it easy to get to the village, restaurants, bars, the beach, and hiking trails. The beach is just five minutes away. This bed and breakfast felt like a little paradise, with beautifully equipped accommodation and lovely attention to detail. Go without hesitation, you won’t be disappointed.

I booked Cloverleigh Guesthouse at the last minute and wound up staying three nights. Paul was a great host. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms had everything I needed for a short break. It’s well located near both nature and town. I loved my stay and can highly recommend Cloverleigh Guesthouse.
