CW was a super friendly host and made us feel at home almost right away. The place itself was neat, quiet and really nice.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame, because this place was lovely. The lake views from the balcony were beautiful, and the clean, modern room was nicely decorated. We enjoyed breakfast and made use of the pool. You’re right among nature here, with birds in the trees and around the lake, and a very friendly, quite the character host. There are well-behaved dogs on site too, but they don’t really bother you.

The lake view was magical, and the room was lovely. The owner was great too. Such a precious experience, and I’ll most definitely go back.

Lodge on the lake was such a special place to celebrate our 7 year anniversary, and a stay we’ll always remember. It felt like a home away from home. The views were breathtaking, the room was super clean, and there was a thoughtful extra at the coffee area. Breakfast was incredible, and the owners were the best. They took time to talk with us and made us feel like special guests, not just another customer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our room was immaculate, with beautiful views over the lake. Basie and Annemie were wonderful hosts, and they suggested lovely gems to see in and around their beautiful town. We had an exceptional honeymoon at Lodge On the Lake and would definitely recommend the accommodation and visit again. 💕
