What an inconvenience!!! We ended up driving from Knaysna to Cape Town with our luggage on our laps because we had to transport two extra adults. Here’s what happened. We initially booked 5days, then negotiated to remove one day when we arrived. The original booking was check in 30 Dec and check out 04 Jan 2026. The revised plan was check in 30 Dec and check out 03 Jan 2026. The owner made an error and checked us out on 02 Jan 2026 without telling us. The problem was how we were treated at first. Wayn chased us out like we were nobodies and refused to accept the mistake. His wife rebuked us, and their daughter called us 'caucky '. Later, Wayn apologized for the error, saying they had already booked other people. W

We were really glad they could fit us in at the last minute at this beautiful place. The room was super clean, the hosts were very kind, and the lagoon view was great. Thanks again, Wayne & Glenda!

Wayne and Glenda were lovely hosts, and we had one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve ever had. The place was clean and neat, tastefully decorated, and in a fantastic location. There’s a stunning view over the lagoon, and shops, restaurants and the lagoon are all within walking distance.

Our room was roomy and modern, with all the amenities provided. There’s a beach and a small lake close by, and some rooms look out over the ocean and garden. The host was really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was lovely, but it felt cold and damp, possibly because of the sea mist. There was no heating, and they weren’t willing to provide a heater. I wouldn’t choose this place when it gets properly cold.
