The ladies who prepare and serve breakfast are so lovely, and the breakfast itself is top notch. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. It's a peaceful setting, with a pecan forest behind you and your own private patio for a sundowner. Highly recommend this spot for a Winterton visit!

A great place for getting away with business or social connections. The food was great, and they catered for people with eating restrictions.

The staff are friendly and really accommodating. Winterton Country Lodge feels like an oasis, and I'd recommend it to any kind of traveller.

We were sorry to leave after just one night. From the driveway onward, you're surrounded by nature, and the stay was really pleasant. The spacious, luxurious rooms have everything you need. Breakfast was hearty and filling, and they took special care of our Islamic colleague. If you're travelling, especially from a city, Winterton makes a lovely break from the daily buzz. Thanks, and hopefully we'll see you again soon for longer.

The owners have clearly put their hearts into this whole "Oasis." The decor and setup feel genuine and don't intrude. From the entrance gate through reception and into the rooms, there's so much to take in that you just want to pause for a moment. We were welcomed right from the start as if we'd come home, and felt blessed to spend two nights here. A place to keep in mind when you're after peace and quiet with quality and style. Well done.
